Introducing the phenomenological model of performance practice [pmpp]
A comprehensive step-by-step guide to phenomenological performance research addressed to novice researchers, researchers-practitioners and scholars with an interest in the theory of phenomenology. The paper proposes a model of data collection, organisation and analysis in interview design and practice-based research treating phenomenology not only as philosophy but also as a methodological and creative tool.

This volume assembles analyses from established academics and emerging theatre researchers on the influential work of Iakovos Kambanellis. My contributed chapter The War Within: Body-Centered Approaches to the Early Post-War Dramaturgy of Iakovos Kambanellis, investigates the lived experience of mental and physical pain during and post World War II.

embodying greek tragedy: phenomenological explorations of the suffering body in theory & practice
Drawing on three case study performances, this research employs (medical) phenomenology to examine the lived experience of psychosomatic suffering in contemporary body-centric adaptations of Greek tragedy. It specifically focuses on the processes involved in performer training and performance making.

bodies, postbodies & the pandemic of isolation
This chapter stems from a presentation at the conference Performing Arts in the 21st Century: Current Practices and Future Prospects organised by The Hellenic Association of Theatre and Performing Arts Critics. It examines the impact of enforced isolation on an ensemble of five performers during the two consecutive lockdowns.

Phenomenology of Pain and the Suffering Body in Greek Tragedy:

This chapter is included in a PGR conference proceedings volume. It explores the theme of the suffering body across five Greek tragedies namely Prometheus Bound, Oedipus Rex, Medea, Bacchae and Iphigenia in Tauris. This work represents my initial theoretical exploration of the subject, which later developed into my doctoral thesis.
